Brooke Taylor

Brooke is a 15-year radio veteran. She is part of "The Family Friendly Morning Show" on 95.5 The Fish in Cleveland, OH. She started in broadcasting at the age of 14.  She's spent time in Raleigh, NC, Green Bay, WI, and for the past 3 years in Cleveland. She also spent time at WKDD in Akron. Her career highlights include interviewing diverse people and artists - from Dolly Parton to Mercy Me, to Phil Donahue, Third Day, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, and more.

Brooke's biggest joy is being mom to her 3 boys, and wife to Jim--an Army veteran. She is also a co-founder of "The Mom Squad", a network of Christian women from all over Northeast Ohio. They share tips, recipes, advice, and inspiration, all with a focus on faith and family. She is also an avid runner.

Brooke believes that finding who we are in Christ is fundamental to raising strong children and having a secure marriage.  Brooke says, "Sometimes we look to other women, society, and celebrities to help us know who we are supposed to be.  When we look at ourselves the way God sees us, it allows us to have a true picture and offer that to our children, especially our daughters."

Kurt Ruehr has spent his life in Portage County. Graduating from Crestwood High in Mantua, he went to Kent State and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation of Natural Resources. While there he fell in love with and married his beautiful wife Mary. After working for a few years in the metals industry, he decided that he wanted a career where he could directly help people. To accomplish that, he returned to Kent and earned his Masters of Business Administration in Finance. He went to work for MetLife immediately after graduation and has been there ever since, with an important exception. When his youngest son was born, Kurt took off a year to stay at home with his children. They were 4, 3, 1, and 0. During that time he earned his black belt in baby care, and will tell you that it’s the hardest job he has ever had. He is now back at work as a Financial Services Representative serving clients across the state, but maintaining an office in his home so that he can be there to care for his family. Kurt teaches courses for Crown Financial Ministries, and is always excited about how the Bible is really the greatest financial planning text ever. Kurt attends The Chapel at Tinker’s Creek where he serves as Stewardship Director. (He finally made it out of the nursery!) He’s a member of the PTO, and leads the local Cub Scout Pack. An outdoorsman at heart, Kurt loves spending time with his family camping, hiking, and canoeing. He currently resides in Aurora with his wife and four children, where they raise chickens, honey bees, and a beautiful garden.

Ken and Lisa Wells have been married for 19 years and have 2 children, Joshua - age 12 and Maria - age 10.  Ken has been a practicing physician for 17 years in the greater Akron/Portage county area, and Lisa has 12 years experience as a registered nurse.  She is currently a stay-at-home-mom to Josh and Maria.  Together they enjoy sharing with others what God has revealed to them over the course of time in their marriage.  Ken has led many men's bible studies and taught several classes on marriage.  He integrates his faith into his practice of medicine, believing in treating not just physical ailments, but assisting with spiritual ones as well.  Lisa has devoted the last several years to being the best wife/mother she can be to Ken and to her children.  Most recently, they have dealt with their son's debilitating illness and wish to share their message of hope and God's provision - even in the direst of circumstances.  Nothing is impossible with God!
